Treatment takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Topical numbing and ice may be used for comfort. Multiple small injections are placed beneath the chin in a precise grid pattern. You may feel brief stinging or warmth during injection.

Swelling is expected and can be significant, especially after the first treatment. Swelling typically peaks within 24 to 48 hours and may last one to two weeks for most.
