Most patients require six to eight sessions spaced four to six weeks apart depending on the area treated.
Hair grows in cycles. The laser is most effective during the active growth phase, which is why multiple treatments are necessary. Facial areas may require slightly shorter intervals, while body areas may be spaced longer. Hormonal areas such as the face or Brazilian may require maintenance sessions to maintain optimal long term reduction.

Shave the treatment area 24 to 48 hours before your appointment. Hair should be present beneath the surface but not above the skin.
Avoid waxing, tweezing, threading, or plucking for at least six weeks prior to treatment, as these remove the follicle that the laser needs to target.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning, including sunless tanning products, for at least two weeks before treatment. Skin should be at its natural baseline tone for safest results.

You may feel a mild snapping or warming sensation as the laser pulses. Most patients rate discomfort at 2 to 4 out of 10.
We use the Zimmer cooling system to enhance comfort and protect the skin during treatment. Larger areas such as the legs or back may take 20 to 45 minutes, while smaller areas like the lip or underarms take only a few minutes.

Mild redness or warmth may occur for several hours after treatment. This typically resolves quickly.
Avoid hot showers, strenuous exercise, saunas, and sun exposure for 24 hours. Use gentle skincare and sunscreen daily.
Treated hairs will gradually shed over one to three weeks. It may appear as if hair is growing, but this is the treated follicle releasing the damaged hair shaft.

You will notice gradual reduction in hair thickness and density after each session.
In the weeks following treatment, many patients experience a noticeable pause in hair growth. For a period of time, the treated area often remains smoother with significantly less regrowth, offering a welcome break from daily shaving or waxing. This temporary reduction happens because treated follicles have been disrupted and are no longer actively producing hair.
Over the next one to three weeks, treated hairs will shed. As your series progresses, each session results in less and less regrowth. Hair that does return is typically finer, lighter, and slower growing.
Most patients experience 70 to 90 percent permanent hair reduction after completing a full treatment series. Remaining hairs are usually softer and easier to manage.
Results vary based on hair color, hair thickness, hormonal influences, and treatment consistency. Maintenance sessions once or twice per year may be recommended, particularly for hormonally influenced areas.
